MEET JAY
Jay Feely has never backed down from hard work or hesitated to stand up for what he knows is right. From the pressure-filled moments on the football field to the bright lights of the broadcast booth, and his deep involvement in the community through his charitable work, Jay has approached every chapter of his life with the same unwavering commitment to having a positive impact.
At the heart of it all is a foundation built on a deep respect for the timeless conservative values that shaped him—personal responsibility, servant leadership, and the belief that we are called to use our blessings to serve others.
Jay went to the University of Michigan 1994-1998 and was a member of the 1997 National Championship football team. Following college, Jay spent 2 years as a financial advisor with Wealth Enhancement Group before realizing his dream playing 14 years in the National Football League. He played for 6 teams from 2001 to 2014. Known for his toughness and leadership, he was named a Pro Bowl Alternate and earned multiple “Man of the Year” honors for his character and community impact on the Falcons, Giants, and our Arizona Cardinals.
Trusted and respected by teammates, Jay was elected team captain on three different teams and served on the NFLPA Executive Committee for over a decade. On the executive committee Jay represented his teammates with ownership, even negotiating with management during the lockout at the Federal mediation office in Washington, DC.
Jay and his wife Rebecca, fell in love with the East Valley 15 years ago when Jay signed with the Arizona Cardinals; they loved it so much, they decided it was the perfect place to raise their four children.
After retiring from football, Jay became a nationally recognized voice as an NFL analyst for CBS, earning five Emmy Awards for his work. His influence extends well beyond the broadcast booth—Jay serves on the boards of StrongWatch and Klein Tools and supports American innovation and entrepreneurship through angel investments and business leadership.
In 2012, Jay and Rebecca founded the Feely Family Foundation to support causes focused on youth, education, and encouraging the American dream. Deeply committed to educational freedom and opportunity, Jay served on the Gilbert Christian School Board from 2016 to 2020. Rebecca was an anatomy & biology teacher at Gilbert Christian High school.
A mentor and coach, Jay started the first girls’ soccer program at Gilbert Christian High School—coaching his oldest daughter Lexi and leading the team to a state semifinal in its second season and winning a state championship in its fifth. In 2020, he was named both Arizona State and Western United States High School Coach of the Year.
Jay’s service has been recognized at the highest levels. He was a finalist for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year award, one of the league’s most prestigious honors, and received the House of Refuge Legacy Award in 2023 for his enduring commitment to community and faith-based service. He also serves with Mission of Hope and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, reflecting his deep belief in serving others and standing for those in need.
With a lifetime of leadership, experience, a heart for service, and a commitment to faith, family, and future generations, Jay brings a powerful and committed voice to public service.
TOUGH ON THE FIELD. TOUGHER IN WASHINGTON.
PRIORITIES
Jay Feely earned a reputation in the NFL for his performance on the field, but it’s his integrity, commitment to serve, and dedication to American values that truly define him. As a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and 15 year resident of the East Valley, Jay is now running for Congress to defend our freedoms, secure the border, and reignite the American Dream.
A staunch supporter of President Trump and the America First Agenda, Jay aims to bring the same toughness and discipline from his football career to Washington.
ARIZONA INTERESTS REPRESENTED
Washington is broken—and too many in Congress are more interested in pleasing lobbyists and party bosses than fighting for the people they represent. I’m going to Washington to give Congress the kick it needs, not to make friends—I’m going to make a difference for Arizona.
In Congress, I’ll be a voice for the East Valley—not the D.C. establishment. That means protecting our water, standing up for our farmers and ranchers, defending our Second Amendment rights, and stopping out-of-control federal mandates that hurt our families, small businesses, and schools. I will always put Arizona first—our values, our economy, our security.
We don’t need another rubber stamp in Congress. We need a fighter who will carry Arizona’s voice straight into the halls of power—and never back down.
A SECURE BORDER
A nation without borders is no nation at all. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have created a crisis at our southern border—ushering in a tidal wave of illegal immigration, deadly fentanyl, and violent crime. While they make excuses, President Trump proved you don’t need new laws to secure the border—you need leadership and willpower. He did it in three months.
In Congress, I’ll fight to finish the wall, dismantle the Biden/Harris open-borders agenda, and deliver results. That includes supporting mass deportations of violent offenders, fully backing our police, Border Patrol and ICE agents, and working to eradicate fentanyl before it reaches our neighborhoods. Our families deserve safety. Our officers deserve support. I will deliver both.
A STRONG AMERICAN ECONOMY
Arizona is the beating heart of America’s economic future. We’re leading the way in semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, defense technology, and logistics. But if we want to stay competitive, we must stay bold.
In Congress, I’ll fight to slash red tape, expand Trump-era tax cuts, unleash domestic manufacturing, and drive down inflation. The Biden economy favored entrenched powers and bureaucrats. We need an economy that rewards working Americans. That’s how we bring good-paying, stable jobs to the East Valley and reduce our national debt while we’re at it.
PROTECTING WOMEN’S SPORTS
I am unashamed to say: boys should not be competing against girls in sports. Plain and simple. Radical gender ideology is destroying fairness and opportunity for young women, and weak leaders are letting it happen.
As a father of a daughter who’s played competitive soccer and former coach, I’ve seen what it takes to compete—and what’s at risk when biological men are allowed to take the field. In Congress, I will fight to protect girls’ and women’s sports by codifying common-sense laws that ensure fair competition and keep women’s titles out of men’s hands.
A Restoration of the American Dream
The American Dream used to mean something—work hard, build a family, buy a home, and create a better future. But under Democrat control, that dream has slipped further out of reach for Arizona families.
Skyrocketing inflation, reckless spending, and an out-of-touch Washington machine have made it harder than ever for young families to get started. In Congress, I’ll fight to restore upward mobility and bring the cost of living down—so Arizonans can build lives right here in the East Valley, not be priced out of it.
Standing with Israel & Fighting Antisemitism
I’ve stood on the border of Gaza. I’ve seen the sniper walls Israel must use to protect innocent families from terrorist rockets. And I’ve seen firsthand the strength and resilience of our greatest ally in the Middle East.
In Congress, I will stand unapologetically with Israel and fight to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship. That includes fighting antisemitism right here at home—especially on college campuses where Jewish students are being harassed and targeted simply for being who they are. We will make it clear: antisemitism has no place in America. Under President Trump, America stood with Israel. Under Biden, that support has been dangerously weakened. I will work to help restore our commitment to our greatest ally in the middle east.
Unleashing American Energy Independence
The path to prosperity runs through American energy. I proudly support President Trump’s America-First energy agenda—and I’ll work to unleash the full power of American oil, natural gas, clean coal, and the next generation of innovation.
Energy independence means lower costs for families, more jobs for Arizona workers, and greater national security. It means never again being held hostage by foreign adversaries or Green New Deal lies. I’ll fight to restore American energy dominance by cutting red tape, encouraging exploration, and building the infrastructure we need to fuel America’s comeback.
