About Elizabeth
Arizona stands at a crossroads and so do we. For too long families in our district have been asked to accept broken promises, shrinking opportunities, and leaders who answer to special interests instead of the people they represent. Elizabeth is running for Congressional District 5 because she believes every person deserves access to healthcare, every child deserves a quality education, and every family deserves the chance to thrive without fear that tomorrow will cost more than they can bear.
Her journey has not been simple. She knows what it means to fight through obstacles that should have been met with support. She knows what it means to feel overlooked by the very systems meant to serve us. That lived experience is what grounds her work as a nurse, as an advocate, and now as a candidate. She is not stepping into this race to seek power. She is stepping forward to give power back to the people of Arizona’s 5th Congressional District.
This campaign is about restoring trust, demanding accountability, and building a future that belongs to all of us. Together we can rise to the challenge, refuse to settle for less, and chart a new course for our community and our country.
Mission
The mission of the Nurse Lee 4 AZ campaign is to advocate for a just and prosperous Arizona by fighting for equity and accessibility in healthcare, economic stability, funding public education, and defending our fundamental freedoms.
We’re dedicated to representing the diverse communities of Arizona’s 5th Congressional District with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to people-centered policies.
Values
Accessible Healthcare & Social Security
We believe that access to healthcare and a secure retirement are fundamental rights. We will defend and expand Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, opposing any attempts to cut or privatize these essential programs. Our campaign supports the provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act to lower prescription drug costs and will fight to ensure our veterans receive the care they deserve by fully resourcing the VA.
Promoting Affordable Housing and Economic Fairness
We believe in an economy where everyone has a fair shot. We’ll fight to lower costs for families by stopping harmful tariffs and expanding assistance programs. We will advocate for policies that make corporations and the wealthiest pay their fair share, increasing the Earned Income and Child Tax Credits to put more money in the pockets of working families. We stand with workers’ rights to organize and unionize.
Fully Funding Public Education
We are dedicated to a strong public education system that serves every student. We will fully fund our public schools, fight to stop privatization, and ensure all students, including English Language Learners, have the resources they need to succeed. We will also champion federal funding for the arts, recognizing its importance in rejecting division and fostering our nation’s creative spirit.

Our vision is an Arizona where every family can thrive, not just survive. We envision a state with a strong, fair economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy. We see a future where our environment is protected for generations to come, where healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and where our democracy is strong, and every voice is heard. We will be a fierce advocate for working families, small businesses, and the most vulnerable in our communities, ensuring that Arizona remains a place of opportunity and justice for all.
