About Representative Fine, Randy
Randy Fine was elected to represent Florida’s 6th Congressional District in April 2025 and serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Education and Workforce Committee.
A third-generation Floridian, Fine built a career as an entrepreneur in retail, technology, and hospitality before retiring from the private sector at age 40 to focus on raising his sons, Jacob and David, with his wife, Wendy. He has also served as a Cubmaster and assistant scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts.
In 2016, Fine was elected to the Florida House, where he served the maximum eight years before moving to the Florida Senate and then Congress. During his years in Tallahassee, he chaired five committees, passed more than forty bills, and became known for his work on school choice, immigration enforcement, and child protection.
As the only Jewish Republican in the Florida Legislature, Fine led efforts to make Florida safer for Jewish families and people of faith, earning the nickname “The Hebrew Hammer” from colleagues and national Jewish organizations for his work opposing terrorism and combating antisemitism.
The son of two public school teachers, Fine graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in government and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with high distinction as one of the school’s youngest Baker Scholars in decades.
