Representative Hugh Anderson Haralson

Hugh Anderson Haralson (born November 13, 1805) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Georgia. Representing Georgia’s 4th Congressional District, he served four consecutive terms in Congress and was in office during a formative period in the mid-19th century. Haralson began his congressional career on December 4, 1843, and remained in office until March 3, 1851.
