Senator James Henderson Berry

James Henderson Berry (born May 15, 1841) was a Democratic United States senator from Arkansas who served in the Senate from December 7, 1885, to March 3, 1907. Representing the state of Arkansas, he held the office of senator for four terms, making him a long-serving member of the chamber during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His tenure in the Senate marked him as a significant historical member of Congress from Arkansas.

During his time in office, Berry served as a senator without a designated congressional district, as is customary for members of the United States Senate, and he was affiliated with the Democratic Party throughout his career.
