About Representative Lucien Jerome Fenton
Lucien Jerome Fenton (born May 7, 1844) was a Republican politician who represented Ohio in the United States House of Representatives in the late nineteenth century. Serving as a member of Congress from Ohio’s 10th Congressional District, he held office as a U.S. Representative during a period of post–Civil War industrial and political development in the state and the nation.
Fenton entered Congress on December 2, 1895, and served until March 3, 1899. Over the course of his congressional career, he completed two terms in the House of Representatives. During this time, he served as a Republican representative from Ohio, contributing to the work of the House during the 54th and 55th Congresses. His service concluded in 1899, and he is recorded as a former member of Congress.
