Representative Paul Joseph Kilday

Paul Joseph Kilday (born March 29, 1900) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas. He represented Texas’s 20th Congressional District and served as a federal legislator during the mid-20th century. Identified in congressional records under the bioguide ID K000171, he was part of the Texas delegation during a period of significant national and international change.

Kilday began his congressional service on January 3, 1939, and remained in office until January 3, 1963. Over the course of these twenty-four years, he served twelve terms in the House of Representatives. Throughout this time he held the role of Representative, and his long tenure reflected sustained electoral support within his district. After leaving office in 1963, he was recorded as a former member of Congress.
