2026 Executive Schedule, SES & SL/ST Federal Pay Rates

The federal government’s most senior positions are paid outside the General Schedule. The Executive Schedule (EX) sets pay for top political appointees (Levels I–V); the Senior Executive Service (SES) and Senior-Level (SL) and Scientific or Professional (ST) systems use pay ranges.
