Richard Clough Anderson (born August 4, 1788) was a United States Representative from Kentucky who served in the early nineteenth century. A member of the Republican Party, he represented Kentucky’s 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. His tenure in Congress began on December 1, 1817, and concluded on March 3, 1821, encompassing two consecutive terms.

During his time in office, Anderson served as a Representative for Kentucky at the federal level, participating in the national legislative process in the post–War of 1812 era. Identified in historical records as a former member of Congress, he is noted primarily for his role in representing Kentucky’s 8th District as a Republican between 1817 and 1821.
