Samuel Edwards (born March 12, 1785) was a Jackson party politician who represented Pennsylvania in the United States House of Representatives in the early nineteenth century. Serving as a member of the House from December 6, 1819, to March 3, 1827, he held office during a formative period in the nation’s political realignment and the rise of Jacksonian influence.
Edwards represented Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional District and completed four terms in Congress.
