Samuel Edwards (born March 12, 1785) was a Jackson party politician who represented Pennsylvania in the United States House of Representatives in the early nineteenth century. Serving as a member of the House from December 6, 1819, to March 3, 1827, he held office during a formative period in the nation’s political realignment and the rise of Jacksonian influence.

Edwards represented Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional District and completed four terms in Congress. Identified in the historical record as Representative Samuel Edwards of Pennsylvania, he is noted primarily for his service in the U.S. House, where he served as a Jackson party member until leaving office in 1827.
