Warren was born in Burke County, Georgia, United States. She pursued her education at Tuskegee University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Education Degree in Personnel Administration.

In terms of her professional experience, Warren has served as the Director of Student Services for the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education. This role has allowed her to contribute significantly to the field of education in Alabama.

Warren’s political career has been marked by her dedication to her constituents in the 82nd District. She was first elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in a special election held on March 8, 2005. Since then, she has been re-elected multiple times, with her current term set to end on November 4, 2026.
