Representative Reed Ingram
Reed Ingram, born in 1962, is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. He currently serves as a representative of the Alabama House of Representatives for District 75, which encompasses parts of Elmore County and Montgomery County.
Ingram assumed office on November 5, 2014, and his current term is set to end on November 4, 2026. He successfully ran for re-election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 75 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Before his tenure in the Alabama House of Representatives, Ingram served on the Montgomery County Commission from 2004 to 2014. His professional experience also includes serving on the board of directors for the South Alabama Development Commission and Habitat for Humanity. He has served as president of the Farm Bureau Federation of Montgomery County.
Ingram’s committee assignments for the 2023-2024 period include the Agriculture and Forestry Committee, the House County and Municipal Government Committee (as Chair), and the Montgomery County Legislation Committee. In the past, he has also served on the Financial Services Committee.
Ingram’s professional background extends beyond politics. He is the owner of Sweet Creek Farm Market and has previously worked as a car dealer. He resides in Pike Road, Alabama.
