As a member of the Alabama State Senate, Barfoot has served on several Senate committees, including Judiciary (as Vice Chairperson), Confirmations, Banking and Insurance, Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Development, Children Youth and Human Services, and Veterans and Military Affairs.
