Representative Cesar Aguilar
Cesar Aguilar is an American politician who is currently serving as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from the 26th district. He assumed office on January 9, 2023, serving alongside Quantá Crews.
Aguilar was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He pursued his education at Northern Arizona University. His political journey began in earnest in August 2022 when he contested in the Democratic primary election for the 26th district of the Arizona House of Representatives. Aguilar emerged victorious, defeating Christian Solorio and Gil Hacohen.
In November 2022, he was elected along with Flavio Bravo in the general election. His victory marked the beginning of his tenure as a representative of the 26th district. Aguilar’s political career is characterized by his commitment to his constituents and his dedication to serving the people of Arizona.
Before his current role, Aguilar held several positions that showcased his leadership skills and commitment to public service. He served as the co-chair of the Latinx Advisory Board for the Department of Education for Superintendent Kathy Hoffman, the vice president of the Hispanic-Native American Indian Caucus of the Arizona School Board Association, and the governing board vice president of the Balsz Elementary School Board.
