Representative Rachel Jones
Rachel Jones is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. She was elected to represent District 17 in the Arizona House of Representatives in 2022.
Jones has been an active citizen of Arizona for 17 years. She is a mother of five kids, three of whom were the blessing of adoption. Her faith is her prime motivator in all that she does for her family and her state.
In the 2022 elections, Jones and Cory McGarr won a five-way contest in the Republican Primary. They went on to defeat Democrats Dana Allmond and Brian Radford in the general election. This victory marked the beginning of her tenure in the Arizona House of Representatives, which started on January 9, 2023.
Jones was born in Denver, Colorado. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2002. Her career experience includes working as a business executive at UPS, a teacher, and a preschool director.
As a legislator, Jones has been assigned to the Government and Elections Committee and the Military Affairs and Public Safety Committee. She has also served as the Vice Chair of the Municipal Oversight and Elections.
Jones’ current term in the Arizona House of Representatives is set to end on January 13, 2025.
