Representative Karilyn Brown
Karilyn B. Brown is an American politician who has been serving as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives since January 9, 2023. She currently represents Arkansas’ 67th House district.
Karilyn Brown was first elected to the 41st district in the 2014 Arkansas House of Representatives election. She was reelected to the seat in the 2016, 2018, and 2020 Arkansas House of Representatives elections. Due to redistricting, she ran for the 67th district in the 2022 Arkansas House of Representatives election, and won the seat.
In terms of her political positions, Brown is known to be anti-abortion.
On the educational front, Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in professional and technical writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2007. Outside of politics, she is a technical writer.
She has served as a justice of the peace of the Pulaski County Quorum Court. She is a Lutheran by faith.
In terms of her tenure, she assumed office on January 9, 2023. Her current term ends on January 13, 2025. Brown is running for re-election to the Arkansas House of Representatives to represent District 67. She is on the ballot in the Republican primary.
