Representative Mindy McAlindon
Mindy McAlindon is an American politician who has served as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives since January 9, 2023. She represents Arkansas’ 10th House district.
She was elected on November 8, 2022, in the 2022 Arkansas House of Representatives election against Democratic opponent Kate Schaffer. She assumed office on January 9, 2023.
Mindy McAlindon is a Christian. She earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering, economics, and mathematics in 1989 from Vanderbilt University. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University at Bloomington in 1993.
In addition to her political career, McAlindon’s professional experience includes working as an author, a marketing executive with Thunder Boys Group, the director of marketing of EMI Christian Music Group, and a financial analyst with Ford Motor Credit Company.
For the 94th General Assembly, Rep. McAlindon serves on the House Revenue and Taxation Committee and the House City, County, and Local Affairs Committee.
She is currently running for re-election to the Arkansas House of Representatives to represent District 10. The Republican primary for this office on March 5, 2024, was canceled. Incumbent Mindy McAlindon and Kate Schaffer are running in the general election for Arkansas House of Representatives District 10 on November 5, 2024.
