Representative Jamie Jackson

Jamie Jackson is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 41. She assumed office on January 27, 2025, and her current term will conclude on January 12, 2027.

Jamie Jackson is a community activist, nonprofit leader, and advocate for equity whose career reflects a deep commitment to public service and justice. Born and raised in Colorado, Jackson pursued higher education at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Before joining the Colorado House of Representatives, Jackson served as Chief Operating Officer at The Naloxone Project, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to life-saving overdose reversal medication and addressing the opioid crisis. In this role, she worked to improve public health outcomes, advocate for harm reduction strategies, and ensure that vulnerable populations had access to critical resources. In January 2025, Jackson was appointed by the Arapahoe County Democratic Party to fill the vacancy left by Representative Iman Jodeh in District 41. Her appointment reflected the confidence of party leaders and community members in her ability to represent the diverse and dynamic district, which includes parts of Aurora. District 41 faces challenges related to housing affordability, healthcare access, and criminal justice reform—issues Jackson has prioritized since taking office.
