About Senator Brian Nathan
Brian Nathan serves as a Democratic Senator for District 14 in the Florida state legislature.
Nathan’s career experience includes serving as an electrician, assistant business manager, and lead organizer at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Nathan has also served on CareerSource Tampa Bay and the City of Tampa workforce development board. Nathan attended Hillsborough Community College and earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and sociology from the University of Tampa. I served in the United States Navy as a Cryptologist for six years. When I separated from the Navy in 2008, my wife, Tonia, and I settled in Tampa.
