Representative Jessica Baker

Jessica Baker is an American attorney and politician currently serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 17th district. She assumed office on November 8, 2022.

Born on April 12, Jessica Baker lives in Jacksonville, Florida. She is married to Tim Baker and they have two children, Brooks and Olivia. She identifies as a Christian.

Baker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Juris Doctor from Florida State University. Her career experience includes working as an attorney and a government affairs consultant with Ballard Partners. She also worked as a lobbyist for Sachs Sax Caplan and served on the staff of Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry. Currently, she works as a prosecutor in the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.

In the 2022 general election for Florida House of Representatives District 17, Jessica Baker defeated Michael Anderson, securing 61.0% of the votes. Her current term ends on November 5, 2024. She has declared her candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on August 20, 2024.
