Jonathan Allen Martin, born on December 19, 1981, in Cherokee, Iowa, is an American politician serving as a member of the Florida Senate for the 33rd district. He moved to Florida in 1986.

Martin earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Stetson University and a Juris Doctor from the Liberty University School of Law. During his time at Stetson University, he served as the President of the Student Government Association. At Liberty University School of Law, he was the Founding Chair of the Honor Council and the Founding President of the Federalist Society.

From 2007 to 2014, Martin served as an assistant state attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit Florida. From 2015 to 2022, he worked as an attorney at Parvey & Frankel Attorneys, P.A. He was also the chairman of the Lee County Republican Executive Committee. In August 2022, he became a partner at Aloia, Roland, Lubell & Morgan, PLLC.

In November 2022, Martin was elected to the Florida Senate. He is a member of the Republican Party and has held several committee assignments including Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee, and member of the Appropriations Committee, the Appropriations Committee on Criminal and Civil Justice, the Community Affairs Committee, the Environment and Natural Resources Committee, and the Ethics and Elections Committee.

Martin is married to Amy D’Alessandro Martin of Fort Myers, FL, and they have three children: Ryker, Reagan, and Rhett. His hobbies include traveling, boating, and hunting. He is a Christian by faith.
