Representative Nan Cobb

Nan Cobb is a dedicated and passionate public servant who has been representing District 26 in the Florida House of Representatives since November 5, 2024. A lifelong Republican, Nan has been a resident of Lake County for over 35 years, where she has built a strong connection with her community.

Before her tenure in the Florida House of Representatives, Nan served on the Eustis City Commission, where she was a vocal advocate for quality-of-life improvements and investments in aging infrastructure. Her commitment to her community extended beyond her political career, as she has been actively involved in various local organizations. Nan has served as the treasurer for Lake County Sheriff Peyton Grinnell, former Lake County Sheriff Gary Borders, and the Lake County Sheriff’s Charities. She has also been a member of Lake 100, the Lake County 4-H advisory board, the Lake Eustis Chamber of Commerce, and the Lake-Sumter State College Foundation.

Nan’s dedication to her community is further exemplified by her involvement in the family business. She and her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Cobb, own and operate Cobb’s Tractor, a well-known local dealership that has been serving Central Florida for over 43 years. The dealership has received recognition as the 2015 Lake County Medium Business of the Year.

Nan’s experience on the City Commission inspired her to run for the Florida House of Representatives, where she continues to advocate for her constituents. She is known for her strong work ethic, commitment to public service, and dedication to improving the lives of those in her district.

In her personal life, Nan is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoys baking cheesecakes, floral arranging, and welding horseshoe art. Nan is also a graduate of Leadership Lake 2010, a program that has helped her develop her leadership skills and further her commitment to her community.
