Rick Roth is a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 94. He assumed office on November 8, 2022, and his current term ends on November 5, 2024. Roth is a member of the Republican Party.

Born on November 21, 1952, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Roth earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University. His career experience includes owning a business in agriculture. Roth has served on the boards of the Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association and the Western Palm Beach County Farm Bureau.

Before his current tenure, Roth served in the Florida House of Representatives District 85. His predecessor in District 94 was Daryl Campbell, and his successor in District 85 was Toby Overdorf. Roth’s base salary as a representative is $18,000 per year, with per diem rates established by the Speaker of the House.

In the 2022 general election for Florida House of Representatives District 94, Roth defeated Terence Davis, securing 59.5% of the votes. Prior to this, Roth was a 2016 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 18th Congressional District of Florida. However, he dropped out of the race on May 23, 2016.

During his tenure, Roth has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 term, he was assigned to the State Affairs Committee and the Ways and Means Committee. In the 2021-2022 term, he served on the State Affairs Committee, Joint Administrative Procedures Committee (as Alternating Chair), and the House Appropriations Committee.
