Representative Robbie Brackett
Robert A. “Robbie” Brackett is a distinguished member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 34. He is a member of the Republican Party and has been serving in this capacity since 2022.
Brackett was born on April 9, 1963, in Vero Beach, Florida, where he continues to reside. He completed his high school education at Vero Beach High School in 1981 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, with a minor in Economics, from Lipscomb University in 1985.
In his professional life, Brackett has made significant strides as a Corporate Managing Partner and Director. His dedication to his work is mirrored in his commitment to his legislative duties.
Brackett’s legislative service is marked by his involvement in several committees. He is a part of the Local Administration, Federal Affairs & Special Districts Subcommittee, where he serves as the Vice Chair. He is also a member of the Infrastructure Strategies Committee, Agriculture, Conservation & Resiliency Subcommittee, Water Quality, Supply & Treatment Subcommittee, Constitutional Rights, Rule of Law & Government Operations Subcommittee, Criminal Justice Subcommittee, and Infrastructure & Tourism Appropriations Subcommittee.
On a personal note, Brackett is married to Samantha “Sam” Brackett from El Paso, Texas. They are proud parents to their children - Reagan Brackett, Bailey Montmarquette, and Tia Bailey. Brackett is a Christian by faith and enjoys boating, hunting, and tennis in his leisure time.
Brackett’s tenure in the Florida House of Representatives is set to continue as he has declared his candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on August 20, 2024. His current term ends on November 5, 2024.
