Senator Brian Strickland

Brian Strickland, born on October 26, 1983, in Henry County, Georgia, is a prominent American politician and attorney. He has been serving as a member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 42, since January 13, 2025. Before this, he represented District 17 in the Georgia State Senate from January 16, 2018, to January 12, 2025. Strickland’s political career began in the Georgia House of Representatives, where he served from January 14, 2013, to December 1, 2017, representing District 111.

Strickland’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Economics from Valdosta State University, which he earned in 2006. He furthered his education by obtaining a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Florida Coastal School of Law in 2009. His professional career as an attorney has been marked by his dedication to public service and his commitment to the legal profession.
