About Representative Eric Gisler
Representative Eric Gisler was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in a special election in December 2025. He represents House District 121 located in northeast Georgia which includes the majority of Oconee County and a portion of Clarke County.
Rep. Gisler is a native of Georgia. He grew up in the Atlanta area and graduated from Jonesboro High School.
After two years at Georgia Southern University, he completed his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, which is equivalent to Biological Oceanography, in 1999. Upon completing his degree, Rep. Gisler began his career in Information Technology where he has worked for over 25 years.
He has held various leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies and startups, and he is currently Director of Product at Assurified, Inc., a startup focused on streamlining insurance management for commercial real estate owners and operators. In addition, Rep. Gisler owns and operates The Olive Basket, a small gourmet food shop specializing in high quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars, in Athens, GA.
Rep. Gisler’s two children are currently enrolled at the University of Georgia and the University of North Georgia where they are excelling at their studies and making their father proud.
