Representative Holt Persinger

Holt Persinger is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 119 in the Georgia House of Representatives. He assumed office on March 6, 2023, and his current term ends on January 13, 2025.

Persinger ran in a special election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 119. He won in the special general runoff election on February 28, 2023. Prior to his political career, Persinger’s experience includes owning Ridgeline Land Planning, Inc., and working as a land development manager with Reliant Homes.

In the special general runoff election for Georgia House of Representatives District 119, Persinger defeated Charles Chase III, securing 59.2% of the votes, which amounted to 1,400 votes. There were no incumbents in this race.

In the special general election for Georgia House of Representatives District 119 held on January 31, 2023, Persinger secured 27.9% of the votes, which amounted to 910 votes. The other candidates in the race were Charles Chase III, Bill Ritter, Renee Lord, Shelbey Diamond Alexander, Joseph Grodzicki, and Joe Price.

In addition to his political career, Persinger is a business owner. He currently works as a Business Development Manager for LJA Engineering. In the House, Persinger serves on the Budget and Affairs, Economic Developments and Tourism, and Natural Resources and The Environment Committees.
