Long Tran ran for election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 80 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. He lives in Dunwoody, Georgia.

Before his political career, Long Tran was a business owner and network security consultant. He owns Peachy Corners Café and has worked extensively in the field of network security. His career experience includes serving on the Mayor of Dunwoody’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board, on the governing boards of Chesnut Elementary School and Peachtree Middle School, and as the chair of the Cub Scout Pack 477.

In the 2022 elections, Long Tran defeated Brian Anderson in the general election for Georgia House of Representatives District 80. He received 57.1% of the votes, totaling 12,096 votes. Brian Anderson received 42.9% of the votes, totaling 9,077 votes. There were no incumbents in this race.
