Miriam Paris, born on June 30, 1960, is an American politician who has been serving in the Georgia House of Representatives from the 142nd district since 2017. Before her current role, she served in the Georgia State Senate from the 26th district from 2011 to 2013.

Paris is a member of the Democratic Party. She assumed office on January 9, 2017, and her current term is set to end on January 13, 2025. She successfully ran for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives to represent District 142 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Before her political career, Paris was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, where she continues to reside. Her professional experience includes working as a realtor.

During her tenure, Paris has served on several committees.
