Born Robert Freeman Leverett on August 5, 1964, he is an American politician from Georgia. Leverett is a Republican. He lives in Elberton, Georgia. Leverett’s career experience includes owning a business and working as an attorney. He has been affiliated with the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce, the Elberton Rotary Club, and the Elbert County Friends of Scouting Campaign.

Before his current tenure, Leverett served in the Georgia House of Representatives District 33. He succeeded Tom McCall in this position. His base salary as a representative is $23,341.72/year with a per diem of $247/day.
