Representative Dori Healey
Dori Healey is a dedicated and committed representative of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 15B. She is a member of the Republican Party and assumed office on December 1, 2022. Her current term ends on December 1, 2024.
Born in Midvale, Idaho, Dori moved to Boise to pursue her studies in nursing at Boise State University. She is a fourth-generation Idahoan and a third-generation nurse, carrying forward a legacy of service and care in her family.
Dori holds multiple degrees, including a master’s degree in nursing education, a master’s degree in business administration, and an advanced nursing degree from Loyola University-Chicago as a clinical nurse specialist. Her educational background and professional experience in nursing have equipped her with a deep understanding of healthcare, which she brings to her role as a legislator.
In addition to her role as a representative, Dori has served in various volunteer positions. She has served as the Idaho chair of Ryan’s Case for Smiles, an organization that provides support for children with serious illnesses and their families. She was also the immediate past president of the Idaho American Nurses Association.
Dori has also been a precinct committeewoman in Ada County, demonstrating her commitment to local governance and community involvement. Her dedication to service extends to her personal life as well. She is married and has two children, ages 7 and 10.
As a legislator, Dori has been assigned to several committees, including Commerce & Human Resources, Health & Welfare, and Local Government.
