Kenny Wroten is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 13B in the Idaho House of Representatives. He assumed office on December 1, 2022, and his current term ends on December 1, 2024. Wroten ran for election to the Idaho House of Representatives to represent District 13B and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Wroten was born in Nampa, Idaho, and graduated from Nampa High School. He earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in computer programming from Northwest Nazarene University in 1985 and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in finance from Boise State University in 1988.

In terms of his professional career, Wroten has worked as a business/deposit development officer with Mountain West Bank, a credit manager with Western Aircraft, Inc., and a sales representative with Landamerica Transnation Title. He has also served as the president of the Kiwanis Club of Nampa, the advisory board chairman of the Nampa Salvation Army, and the chairman of the Nampa Tourism Development Council.

In the 2023-2024 legislative session, Wroten was assigned to several committees, including the Business Committee, Judiciary, Rules, and Administration Committee, Local Government Committee, Revenue and Taxation Committee, Transportation and Defense Committee, and Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee.

As a fiscal conservative, Wroten believes in protecting the 1st and 2nd Amendment rights. He is involved in a number of service groups, Boards, and commissions and is committed to working for his District and the State of Idaho. His top three issues are lowering taxes, improving transportation/infrastructure, and enhancing education.
