Linda Wright Hartgen, an American politician, is a member of the Republican Party. She has been serving in the Idaho Senate since 2022. Prior to this, she was a member of the Idaho House of Representatives for District 24, seat B.

Born as Linda Gardner, she earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from Lewis–Clark State College in 1991. After her graduation, Hartgen started her career as a court clerk in 1991 and held the position until 1992. From 1992 to 2015, she served as a trial court administrator at the Idaho Supreme Court.

On November 6, 2018, Hartgen won the election and became a Republican member of Idaho House of Representatives for District 24, seat B. She defeated Deborah Silver and Anthony Tomkins with 57.7% of the votes. Hartgen announced that she would be running for the seat of retiring state senator Lee Heider, from District 24.

In her personal life, Hartgen was married to Stephen Hartgen, who passed away on December 31, 2021. She is a mother to three children and resides in Twin Falls, Idaho. Apart from her political career, Hartgen co-owned and operated a farming and livestock business. She has served on the CSI Foundation Board, with the Kiwanis Club, and on the CARES Board.

In the recent election, Linda Wright Hartgen ran for election to the Idaho State Senate to represent District 25. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022. Her current term ends on December 1, 2024. She has been assigned to various committees including the Senate Agricultural Affairs Committee, Senate Commerce and Human Resources Committee, Judiciary and Rules Committee, Environment, Energy, and Technology Committee, and Revenue and Taxation Committee.
