Lori McCann is a representative of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 6A. She is a member of the Republican Party and has been serving since May 17, 2021. Her current term ends on December 1, 2024.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Lori McCann has lived in Lewiston, Idaho, for the last 50 years. She is a graduate of Lewiston High School and of the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in education.

McCann served as a program coordinator and professor in the Paralegal and Legal Assisting programs at Lewis Clark State College for 15 years. For the past 43 years, she has worked along with her husband to manage his law practice, their family corporation (consisting of a cattle ranch, timber, and commercial real estate development), and their personal partnership in residential and commercial rentals.

She has held several positions in the past including being a member of the Tammany School Board, president of the Idaho Association for Legal Professionals, and president of Lewis Clark State College’s Foundation Board. Currently, she is a board member of the Idaho Community Foundation and the Idaho Business for Education, and serves as the secretary of the Nez Perce County Republican Central Committee.

McCann is married to William Vern McCann, Jr., and they have four children and ten grandchildren. Her career experience includes working as a professor and the director of the paralegal and legal assistant programs at Lewis-Clark State College, as a paralegal, and co-owning and co-managing a cattle ranch.
