Mike Kingsley is a member of the Republican Party and a representative of District 7A in the Idaho House of Representatives. He assumed office on December 1, 2022, and his current term ends on December 1, 2024. Kingsley ran for re-election to the Idaho House of Representatives to represent District 7A and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Born on December 31, 1959, in Lewiston, Idaho, Kingsley graduated from Lewiston High School in 1978. He has had a diverse career, including owning businesses in the Lewis Clark Valley. He founded the Red Cross advisory board in Lewiston, Idaho, and served as the board president of the Lewiston Gun Club, on the Tri-State Hospital board, on the Lewiston Air Quality commission, and the Region 2 Behavioral Health board.

In terms of legislative work, Kingsley has been assigned to several committees throughout his tenure. For the 2023-2024 term, he was assigned to the House Commerce and Human Resources Committee, House Health and Welfare Committee, Judiciary, Rules, and Administration Committee, Local Government Committee (where he served as Vice Chair), House State Affairs Committee, and Change in Employee Compensation Committee.

Before his current position, Kingsley held office in the Idaho House of Representatives District 6B. His predecessor in this role was John Rusche, and he was succeeded by Brandon Mitchell. As a legislator, Kingsley earns a base salary of $19,913 per year, with additional per diem allowances based on his distance from the capitol.

Kingsley is married to Carolyn Ann Kingsley, and they have three children: Bradley, Lucas, and Katie.
