Representative Brooke Boden Contact information

Brooke Boden, born around 1973, is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. She has been serving as a representative in the Iowa House of Representatives from District 21 since 2021.

Before her political career, Boden had a diverse professional background. She operated a dance studio for 24 years. In addition to this, she worked for National Ballooning Ltd., a hot air balloon manufacturer owned by her family. During her tenure there, she attained a repairman certificate, which allowed her to inspect and repair hot air balloons. Boden also holds a license as an insurance agent and has experience working as a dental assistant.

In her political career, Boden has been an active advocate for the residents of Iowa. She lobbied for legislation supporting Iowa residents with Lyme disease, which passed the Iowa General Assembly in 2017. She later became a co-chair of the Warren County Republican Party.

In 2019, Boden began campaigning for the Iowa House seat held by Scott Ourth. She successfully defeated Ourth in November 2020, winning 9,756 votes to Ourth’s 8,411 votes. Boden took office on January 11, 2021, and was named vice chair of the state government committee.

In the 2022 general election, Boden ran for re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives to represent District 21. She won the election held on November 8, 2022. Her current term ends on January 1, 2025.

Apart from her political duties, Boden is also a business owner. She was born in Indianola, Iowa, and continues to reside there.
