Carl Maughan is a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 90. He is a member of the Republican Party. He assumed office on January 9, 2023, and his current term ends on January 13, 2025.

Maughan ran for election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 90 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. His predecessor was Steve Huebert, who stepped down in 2022.

Carl Maughan earned a B.A. in political science and philosophy from Wichita State University in 1994 and a J.D. from the University of Akron in 1997. His career experience includes owning Maughan Law Group and working as the director of legal and compliance and a general counsel with Net Pay Advance, Inc.
