Dennis Miller is a member of the Democratic Party and represents District 14 in the Kansas House of Representatives. He assumed office on January 9, 2023, and his current term ends on January 13, 2025. He ran for election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 14 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Dennis Miller was born and raised in Webster City, Iowa. After graduating from high school in 1964, he served in the United States Air Force and reached the rank of senior master sergeant. He also served in the Air Force Reserve. In 1973, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Northern Iowa.

After his military service, Miller moved to Olathe, Kansas, in 1977, where he has lived ever since. He is passionate about public service and has dedicated his career to serving the people of Kansas.

In the Kansas House of Representatives, Miller has been assigned to several committees, including the Local Government Committee, the Taxation Committee, the Veterans and Military Committee, and the Welfare Reform Committee. He has sponsored numerous bills on a variety of issues, ranging from property tax exemption to gun violence restraining orders.

Miller’s dedication to public service and his commitment to the people of Kansas have made him a respected figure in the Kansas House of Representatives. His work continues to have a significant impact on the lives of the people in his district and throughout the state of Kansas.
