Jason Goetz is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 119 in the Kansas House of Representatives. He assumed office on January 9, 2023, and his current term ends on January 13, 2025. He ran for election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 119 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Jason Goetz was raised by Stan & Suzi Goetz along with his younger brother and sister, Andrew & Brittany. He was raised in a faith-based fourth-generation farming family which helped form his conservative roots through faith in Jesus Christ and the value of hard work.

Goetz earned an associate degree from Barton County Community College in 2000. His career experience includes working as the chief learning officer of Goetz Farms Inc., the interim lead pastor of Wilroads Garden Christian Church, and the pastor of life mission with Dodge City Church of the Nazarene.

In the 2023-2024 legislative session, Goetz was assigned to the House Education Committee, K-12 Education Budget Committee, and Water Committee. He has sponsored several bills and resolutions during his tenure, including bills related to over-the-counter purchase of certain medications, abortion procedures, and school district open enrollment procedures, among others.

Goetz defeated incumbent Bradley Ralph in the Republican primary for Kansas House of Representatives District 119 on August 2, 2022. He won the election for Kansas House of Representatives District 119 on November 8, 2022, with 100% of the votes.
