Representative John Eplee
John Eplee is a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 63. He assumed office on January 9, 2017, and his current term ends on January 13, 2025. He is a member of the Republican Party.
John Eplee was born in Fredonia, Kansas. He graduated from Fredonia High School. He earned a degree in pre-medical sciences from Kansas State University and earned a degree from the University of Kansas Medical School.
Eplee’s career experience includes working as the founder of Troy Clinic and the chief of staff with Atchison Hospital. He founded the Atchison Flyers/Atchison Red Ravens and has been a member of the Atchison Recreation Commission, USD 409 board, Boy Scouts Troop 86, and the Atchison Rotary Club.
In addition to his work in the medical field, Eplee has been actively involved in his community. He has served on several committees in the Kansas House of Representatives, including the House Federal and State Affairs Committee, Health and Human Services Committee, and the Taxation Committee.
Eplee is currently running for election to the Kansas State Senate to represent District 1. He declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on August 6, 2024.
