Representative Ken Collins
Ken Collins is an American politician serving as a Republican in the Kansas House of Representatives for the 2nd district since 2019. Born on January 27, 1963, in Pittsburg, Kansas, U.S., he currently resides in Mulberry, Kansas, U.S.
Education: Collins attended Fort Scott Community College where he earned an Associates of Science. He furthered his education at Friends University from 1999 to 2001 where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems.
Career: Before his political career, Collins served in the U.S. Air Force and as a member of the Kansas Army National Guard. He also worked at American Telephone & Telegraph. After retiring from AT&T, he became a convenience store owner in Mulberry.
Political Career: Collins was elected to the Kansas State House of Representatives in 2018. He has been serving the 2nd district since 2019. He ran for re-election and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. His current term ends on January 13, 2025.
