Ken Corbet is a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 54th district, which includes Topeka in Shawnee County, Kansas. He was born on August 19, 1948, in Dover, Kansas. He attended Baker University and Washburn University.

Corbet assumed office on January 14, 2013, and his current term ends on January 13, 2025. He successfully ran for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 54 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

In his role as a legislator, Corbet has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 legislative session, he served as the Chair of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Budget Committee. He was also a member of the Appropriations Committee and the Taxation Committee. In previous sessions, he served on the Commerce, Labor and Economic Development Committee, the Energy, Utilities, and Telecommunications Committee, and the Insurance Committee.

Corbet has sponsored numerous bills and resolutions during his tenure. Some of the notable ones include HB2092, which involved reapportioning the districts of certain members of the Washburn university board of regents; HB2150, which repealed the zoning and planning authority for cities in the three-mile area extending from the city boundaries; and HCR5011, which proposed an amendment to the bill of rights of the constitution of the state of Kansas to provide no right to an abortion.

Outside of his legislative duties, Corbet is a small business owner. He owns Ravenwood Lodge and is the founder of the Kansas Hunting Sport Association. His business acumen and commitment to his community have been instrumental in his political career.
