Kenny Titus is a member of the Republican Party and serves as a representative in the Kansas House of Representatives for District 51. He assumed office on January 9, 2023, and his current term is set to end on January 13, 2025.

Titus lives in Flint Hills, Kansas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history and journalism from Kansas State University in 2006, followed by a master’s degree in history from the same university in 2009. He later pursued law and obtained a juris doctor from the University of Kansas in 2014.

Before his election, Titus served as Chief Counsel to the Kansas Department of Agriculture, working with stakeholders in the state’s largest industry. He is considered one of the state’s top water law experts. Prior to that, he worked in the Office of the Kansas Attorney General under Derek Schmidt.

In addition to his political career, Titus has also worked as corporate counsel with Foley Equipment, an adjunct professor with the University of Kansas School of Law, and the chief legal counsel with the Kansas Department of Agriculture. He has been affiliated with the Great Bend Elks Lodge, the Great Bend Recreation Commission, and the Junction City YMCA.

Titus ran for election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 51 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. During his tenure, he has been assigned to several committees including the Corrections and Juvenile Justice Committee, House Judiciary Committee, and Water Committee.

In his personal life, Titus is also a co-owner of National Sports Network, a nationally syndicated play-by-play broadcast network. He plans to move into private law practice by the end of the year.
