Mark Schreiber is an American politician serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives from the 60th district. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Schreiber was born and raised in Kansas. He and his wife, Angie, have lived in the district for more than 32 years. After graduating from Emporia State University, the Schreibers made their home in Emporia and raised their two children there.

Schreiber earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in biology from Emporia State University. As a graduate student, Schreiber worked as a biologist at the Wolf Creek Generating Station. From 1979 to 2017, Schreiber worked for Westar Energy, retiring as the company’s vice president for government affairs. In his role, Schreiber was tasked with lobbying members of the Kansas Legislature.

Schreiber was elected to the Kansas House of Representatives in November 2016 and assumed office on January 9, 2017. Since 2019, he has also served as vice chair of the House Energy, Utilities, and Telecommunications Committee.

In addition to his political career, Schreiber has been involved in various community organizations. He has volunteered with United Way of the Flint Hills, Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce, Emporia-Lyon County Area Metropolitan Planning Commission, SOS, Emporia Community Foundation, Leadership Emporia, and the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence.

Schreiber ran for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 60 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. His current term ends on January 13, 2025.
