Ronald B. Ellis, born on July 24, 1952, in Fredonia, Kansas, is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. He has been serving as a representative for the 47th district in the Kansas House of Representatives since 2017.

Before his political career, Ellis was a dedicated educator and taught for 37 years in the Oskaloosa School District. In addition to his teaching career, he owns and operates a cattle herd, demonstrating his diverse professional background.

Ellis assumed office on January 9, 2017, succeeding Ramon Gonzalez Jr. His tenure has been marked by his commitment to his constituents and his party. His current term is set to end on January 13, 2025, providing him with ample time to continue his work in the House of Representatives.
