Al Gentry, born on October 12, 1964, is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives. He has been representing District 46 since 2017.

Gentry is a strong advocate for legalized sports betting and has co-sponsored a bill to legalize it in the state of Kentucky. He has also supported the legalization of medical cannabis.

Before his political career, Gentry graduated from Bishop David High School and earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisville. He is also an entrepreneur and founded the North American One-Armed Golfer Association.

During his tenure, Gentry has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 period, he was assigned to the House Appropriations and Revenue Committee, Economic Development & Workforce Investment Committee, Licensing, Occupations, and Administrative Regulations Committee, and House Natural Resources and Energy Committee.
