Representative Cherlynn Stevenson
Cherlynn Stevenson is an American politician serving as a member in the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing the 88th district since January 1, 2019. She also serves as Minority Caucus Chair. Her district comprises parts of Fayette and Scott counties.
A native and lifelong Kentuckian, Cherlynn Watley Stevenson has devoted her life to the well-being and service of those in her immediate community, her heritage of Eastern Kentucky and throughout the great Commonwealth of Kentucky. Cherlynn grew up in Hindman, Kentucky, located in Knott County and the mountains of Eastern Kentucky.
She was born in Lexington, Kentucky. She earned a bachelor of science in behavioral science from Morehead State University. Stevenson’s career experience includes working as a nonprofit event planner. She has been a member of the American Cancer Society board and the Women’s Network of Fayette County.
