Chris Fugate, born on December 28, 1969, is an American politician and Pastor who has been serving in the Kentucky House of Representatives from the 84th district since 2017. He was born in Chavies, Kentucky.

Fugate is a member of the Republican Party. His career experience includes working with the Kentucky State Police and as a pastor. He has also been a member of the Project Hope Boys & Girls Club.

Fugate assumed office in 2017 and his current term ends on January 1, 2025. He is running for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 84.

Over the years, Fugate has been assigned to various committees. In the 2023-2024 tenure, he was assigned to the House Appropriations and Revenue Committee, House Natural Resources and Energy Committee, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Committee, and House Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection Committee.

In the 2021-2022 tenure, he served as the Vice chair of the Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Committee, in addition to his roles in the House Appropriations and Revenue Committee, House Natural Resources and Energy Committee, and House Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection Committee.

In the 2019-2020 tenure, he served as the Vice Chair of the Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Committee and was also a part of the House Natural Resources and Energy Committee, House Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection Committee, and House Transportation Committee.

At the beginning of the 2017 legislative session, Fugate served on the Natural Resources and Environment Committee as the Vice chair. He was also a part of the Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Committee, Transportation Committee, and Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection Committee.
