Lindsey Burke is a member of the Democratic Party and represents District 75 in the Kentucky House of Representatives. She assumed office on January 1, 2023, and her current term ends on January 1, 2025. Burke is running for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 75.

Born on January 29, Burke has a rich educational background. She earned a Bachelor of Science in social work from Florida State University in 2007, a Master of Arts in social service administration from the University of Chicago in 2012, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati in 2015.

In addition to her political career, Burke is a lawyer and a social worker. She has founded Micah Legal and worked as one of its attorneys. She also served as a clerk with Legal Aid of the Bluegrass and Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati, and as a graduate organizing intern with the Illinois chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.

Burke has served on the board of Central Christian Church Apartments, Inc., on the board of the Sullivan University Legal Advisory Board, and as a mentor with the New Leaders Council. She has also been involved in housing access and affordability, social services, public education, and health care access and affordability.

In her tenure, Burke has been assigned to several committees including the Health and Family Services Committee, House Judiciary Committee, House Natural Resources and Energy Committee, Judiciary Committee, and Natural Resources and Environment Committee.

She was elected on November 8, 2022, in the 2022 Kentucky House of Representatives election. The Democratic primary for this office on May 21, 2024, was canceled. Burke is running in the general election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 75 on November 5, 2024.
