Representative Marianne Proctor
Marianne Proctor is a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 60. She assumed office on January 1, 2023. Her current term ends on January 1, 2025. Proctor is running for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 60.
Marianne Proctor was born in Flint, Michigan. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1990 and a master’s degree in communication disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1993. Her career experience includes working as a speech-language pathologist and in residential real estate. Proctor has been affiliated with the Boone County Republican Party, Burlington Baptist Church, Girls on the Run, and Answers in Genesis.
She lives in Union with her husband of 27 years, Gregg, and their beloved dog, Reagan. Marianne loves Jesus and is active in her Northern Kentucky community, volunteering for many local charities and events.
In her role as a legislator, Proctor has been assigned to several committees including the House Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Protection Committee, House Local Government Committee, House Families and Children Committee, and the Certificate of Need Task Force.
Proctor defeated incumbent representative Sal Santoro in the Republican primary by 3.4 points on May 17, 2022. She won the election on November 8, 2022, unopposed.
